Ledger volumes of the bank and earlier banking firms, which have been incorporated into the present bank.

First National Bank of Galveston Papers, 1879-1955; 72-1994.
Records a period of financial instability for the bank during 1879-1899. Also includes ledger and work sheets from 1946-1955, before the merger with Hutchings- Sealy National Bank.

Focke, John Papers, 1861-1917; 04-0028. 22 items.
German American cotton merchant who settled in Galveston after the Civil War and formed a partnership with Henry Wilkins. Confederate Texas Treasury Warrants and script, receipts and stock certificates, passport, Garden Verein certificate, incorporation notice, promissory note, business cards, news clippings and announcements and notices of Relief Committee following the 1900 hurricane.
